Weight Watchers (WW)
Penn State is pleased to announce its partnership with WeightWatchers (WW). WW offers flexible solutions to help our employees reach their weight-loss goals. The University is committed to helping our employees reach their wellness goals—eat healthier, move more, develop a more positive mindset, lose weight, or all of the above. All full-time Penn State employees are eligible to participate in this program at a substantial discount. Campus Recreation
Campus Recreation offers memberships for all University Park faculty, staff, and retirees as well as their spouses/partners. A Campus Recreation Membership grants access to the IM Building, White Building, Natatorium, and Hepper Fitness Center for all informal recreation activities.
Access to weight training areas, cardio spaces, most fitness classes, the indoor track at the IM Building, the pools at the Natatorium and White Building, basketball courts, racquetball courts, squash courts, and table tennis areas are all included with the membership. Members can also check out most equipment for use in those spaces at no additional charge. Lockers at the IM Building are available to rent for an additional charge per semester.
Pricing for faculty, staff, retirees, spouses/partners:
$230 – Annual (valid for 1 year from date of purchase) *
$95 – Per Semester
$50 – 1 month (valid for 30 days from date of purchase) **
*Faculty and staff who purchase an annual membership can set up a payroll deduction.

Hinge Health App
Hinge Health is a virtual physical therapy benefit available as an alternative to traditional physical therapy designed to help you overcome muscle and joint pain. This benefit is open to full-time faculty and staff members, post-doctoral appointees, and ACA-eligible faculty and staff members as well as family members, who are enrolled in a Penn State health plan. For those with qualifying medical conditions, Hinge Health offers personalized exercise therapy crafted by expert physical therapists, combined with innovative technology for real-time feedback. You'll have a dedicated care team, including a Physical Therapist and a Health Coach, accessible right through the convenient Hinge Health app. Hinge Health covers all major muscle groups and joint areas, offering programs for recent injuries, chronic pain, pre- and post-surgery, or simply building healthy habits. This program is 100% covered by Penn State, with zero out-of-pocket expenses.
